Signwell has been contracted by Meyer Turku to implement the EP Low Location Lighting System on the latest adding to TUI Cruises, Mein Schiff 7. The installation of the Electrical powered Low Location Lighting System has been done thoroughly by our skilled installation team to meet the strictest regulations of the maritime industry (IMO RESOLUTION A.752(18) and ISO 15370) and in that way create an effective escape route guidance system on board the ship. Our team, specialized in Low Location Lighting Systems installed 6,8 km which is as high as the top of Ama Dablam in Himalayas, Nepal that reaches 6,8km.

Mein Schiff 7 is the latest adding to TUI Cruises fleet, built in FINLAND by Meyer Turku. It is the first ship in the Mein Schiff fleet to run on low-emission marine diesel and the first ship to be built at Meyer Turku Ship Yard that has methanol capability. Furthermore the ship is built to be able to run on methanol, this enables Mein Schiff 7´s propulsion system to be almost CO2- neutral when running on “green methanol”.

The 3L-EP™ Electrical Powered Low Location Light System is the right choice when longevity and design is a priority besides the safety aspect. Our 3L-EP™ system is sustainable and does not require re-certification every five year as the 3L-PL™ Photoluminescent Low Location Lighting System.
As a conclusion to this, we can state that the 3L-EP™ is the right choice when the goal is to implement a discreet integrated Low Location Lighting System that offers the optimal solution for a higher safety level onboard for passengers & personnel.
This LLL system is more cost-effective in the long run and it is not dependent on any light sources. One of the pros with the 3L-EP™ is that it can be fully integrated which gives it the possibility to blend in to the architecture. Furthermore the durability of our Electrical Powered LLL system is excellent, Easy replacement, thanks to the clear cover plastic that is removable.
